San Marcos River Full Day Only - $350/day

Beginning in the city of San Marcos this crystal clear river runs down through large ranches and farmland eventually meeting up with the Guadalupe River near Gonzales. The San Marcos River is spring fed from the Edwards Aquifer and maintains a 70 degree temperature year round. On this river you'll observe a variety of endangered plant and wildlife species, while thick canopies of vegetation provide the trip with much needed shade from the hot Texas sun. Large and small mouth bass, sunfish, carp, gar and catfish are the main species of fish to be found on this river and due to the excellent water clarity, you may have several sightcasting opportunities.
Only full day trips are offered on this river because of limited access on such a large stretch of fishable water. This provides anglers with a much slower paced, enjoyable, relaxing trip without being crowded by other anglers.
We provide streamside lunch, water, equipment and instruction for the trip. Groups larger than 2 can be accomodated provided enough notice. This is an excellent float trip adventure that will give you several photographic opportunities as well as great memories and stories to take with you. Priced for 1-2 ppl
